From October 13th to the 22nd, bars across the country are stirring up this cherished classic.

Fun Fact: The Old Fashioned dates back to the early 1800s! 🤯

But this isn’t just about the drink, it’s about a cause close to our hearts.

For each Elijah Craig Old Fashioned ordered, $1 is pledged to the Southern Smoke Foundation, supporting the well-being of our invaluable food and beverage professionals.

In 2022 alone, this initiative raised a commendable $100,000, helping to fund mental health sessions and emergency relief grants for those in the industry.

If you can't make it to a bar during Old Fashioned Week, no worries, we’ve got you covered!

Ingredients for the Elijah Craig Old Fashioned:

• 2 oz. Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon

• 1/4 oz simple syrup

• 3 dashes of bitters

• Orange swath

• Brandied cherry (optional)

How to make it:

1. Combine the bourbon, bitters, simple syrup, and ice in a mixing glass

2. Stir until well chilled

3. Strain into a double old fashioned glass over a large ice cube

4. Garnish with an orange swath and, if desired, a brandied cherry
