Founded in 2018 by longtime brewing collaborators Ryan Gwozdz and Alan Brinton, South County Distillers emerged from a shared passion for crafting exceptional spirits.

Situated on the Grey Sail Brewing campus in Westerly, Rhode Island, our distillery is equipped with a 300-gallon hybrid copper still, allowing us to produce a diverse range of spirits entirely in-house—from grain to glass.

We pride ourselves on using innovative techniques and ingredients while honoring traditional methods.

At South County Distillers, our whiskeys are a testament to our brewing roots and commitment to quality.

We craft small-batch bourbons and ryes using unique blends of specialty malts, grains, and heirloom corn or rye.

These spirits are aged in charred American oak barrels, with bottling decisions guided by taste and aroma rather than a fixed timeline.

This process imparts rich notes of vanilla and oak, culminating in a rounded, sweeter finish. Bottled at 90 proof, it's perfect for sipping neat, on the rocks, or in your favorite bourbon cocktail.
